I was going to dress up as a Helicopter Parent for Hallowe’en but sometimes explaining your costume is tiresome and quite frankly, a little patronizing.
Instead, I’m making my very own homemade wrestling suit out of a plastic shopping bag.

I had to Google, ‘Helicopter Parent.’ That’s hilarious. What would the costume entail? You could always just leave it at, “I’m a Helicopter Parent,” and leave the questioner to ponder it at their leisure
I’ve put a link to the term now for anyone else who isn’t aware.
I think I’ll go with a head set for constant cell phone connection, a cheque book attached to my belt for bribes and administration fees and just to be literal, perhaps a propeller hat.

Have you heard the term “snowplow parent” or “bulldozer parent”? Makes helicopter parent not look so bad
“Blackhawk Parent” sounds especially noxious.
