I kinda wish I hadn't

I kinda wish I hadn't told anyone about this weblog. That I could of kept it a secret from the people I am close to. I have some very critical people in my life - and I know this will sound like whining to them. Then again, I think it is a blessing, in fact, I need it.
I had a job interview yesterday with an environmental organization that I really admire. It would have been my wet dream - to have a paying job that enabled me to make a difference in the world, not just add to the clutter and the noise.
At first, I thought the interview went alright, but after a closer examination, I will most likely not be hired. The beginning went great, I wowed them with my knowledge of their organization and my concern for environmental education - but the second part of the interview was pretty much a crash and burn.
I think the object was to determine if I was able to stick to my beliefs, and if countered with a pessimistic deadbeat, would I be able to turn his opinion of the human race into a more hopeful viewpoint. At least, I'm hoping that was the idea, because, otherwise, the interviewer was one dried-out environmentalist!
Regardless, I need to stick to my guns more often, I waivered on opinions that I truely believe in and that was more pathetic than missing this job opportunity. So, who gives a flying fart about the opinions I get from this site. If I say something truely up for discussion, of course, I would love a response, and if it was just a simple thought, I'll explain that too.
I guess, ultimately, I don't know how the interview went. Maybe it went better than any other schmuck that they called...
