I've been away for a long time. I've done some pretty boring things and some pretty interesting things.
Since I tend to talk about the boring things ALOT, I'll talk about the more interesting things here....i hope.

So, I went to North Africa for awhile...a short while... a very short while. It was incredibly disappointing - not the country, the length of time I was there.
I have never prepared so much for anything, the entire thought of going there kept my attention for longer than a month (and believe me, this is an amazing feat of mental concentration).
Nevertheless, to make a long story short, and more importantly a confusing story simple, I experienced Tunisia for the grand total of 3 days.
Those three days mind you, and what occurred during this time, has left me looking at the world quite differently.

Now, I have travelled before, and been in situation that were unpredicable/ unstable/ dangerous/ blah blah blah.... and I've also done hash in Amsterdam(smirk)... so don't give me the "why are you surprised?" of patronization. I am also quite aware of the fact that not everything is the same old, same old, Coke, Pepsi and a little dash of Shell. Regardless, I have never felt so bombarded with difference. Not difference of scenery/ food/ temperature/ culture/ etc... I mean a difference of emotional survival.

ah fcuk, I wish I could really write. I can't get what I mean across here. It sounds wrong. Perhaps I need to think about this a little more...
